The new features in this build include:
Fresh new look and feel to the entire Virdaq
Our development team has redesigned a large portion of the navigational areas of the site to make it more intuitive for new users to become members and begin buying and selling with a smaller learning curve. We also have added many new visible and hidden features to the Game Central pages to allow us to deliver content specific items tailored to each game.
Overhaul of the posting process (Faster and Easier)
We have split the posting process up into relevant sections which not only makes listing items easier but also reduces the data load that users were experiencing as we grew the site to cover many games with many unique items. The new posting process also incorporates many of the new listing options as well.
Post Expiry changed to 10 days
As we are now allowing users to Auto-Re-list items that do not sell after the full listing period for free, we have lowered the post listing period to 10 days to keep the listed items fresh and new. In order to re list items for free, the Auto Re-list feature must be selected at time of listing an item. The Auto Re-list option is a free feature that will allow users to keep listing an item for repeatedly when it does not sell, but the option must be enabled when a user posts an item. No refunds will be given for items that do not sell that did not have this option enabled, nor will users be able to manually re-list items for free that do not sell. Edits or revisions to items that were re listed for free may have costs associated with the edit depending on what details are changed by the user.
Auto Re-listing for expired post options (Free Re-listing!)
This option, when enabled, will auto re-list an expired item that did not sell. This option is free for users to enable within their posts.
Auto Re-listing for completed post options
This option, when enabled, will auto re-list a sold item provided that the user has the Tokens in their account balance to cover the re listing. This is highly useful for sellers who have a lot of a specific item to sell and want another copy of that item to be listed for sale immediately. Users will be able to select a number for how many times the item can be re listed. This feature is free to activate, but normal posting costs will of course be applied.
New Delivery options of 12 hours and 8 hours added to post details
A highly requested feature, this will allow further specifications as to how fast you expect to be able to complete a transaction.
New "Feature My Post" option for posts
Now each section of listings includes a "Featured Posts" section which contains more details about the item listing and has a "Buy It!" button to take the user directly to the checkout process for the item. It is further bolded in "Virdaq Gold" and located above the regular listings.
This option will cost 6% of the total price of the post in Token value. The minimum charge for this is 60 Tokens per listing. For example, to feature an item that is priced at $99.99, the base cost to list the item is 40 Tokens and the charge to feature the item is 120 Tokens for a total cost of 160 Tokens. Your listing would appear as a featured item AND as a regular item in the standard listings.
New "Advertise My Post" option for posts
A further feature for users to employ for their listings is our "Advertise My Post" option. An item that has this option will be added to the general queue of banner ads featured at the top of the Virdaq Site. The distribution of Banner Ads is a non-weighted random with one major exception. For example, if the item was 100,000 Gil on the Asura Server for Final Fantasy XI Online (FFXI), price $35, the Banner Ad would contain all this information and if a user clicks on the ad, it will take the user directly to the listing. If the page the user is viewing is the main Virdaq page, all Banner Ads will be in the rotation. If the user is at the Final Fantasy XI online game central page (guides, quests, jobs, information and server listings), the Banner Ads will be only those which are FFXI item banners. Furthermore, if the user is at the Asura Server Currency Listings, the only Ad Banners will be those for Asura Server Currency/Gil listings.
The cost to "Advertise My Post" per item is 35 Tokens.
New "Mammoth" (2,500 Tokens) and "Pro" (10,000 Tokens) packages added for purchase
We have added larger packages for power sellers who wish to buy Tokens in bulk. Purchasing the largest package allows users to buy Tokens at 4 cents USD each, a savings of 20% from the regular 5 cents USD per Token price.
